The Internet has become a source for selling products at discounts off recommended manufacturers' retail prices, including timepieces. Consumers should, however, be aware of the risk involved in purchasing a timepiece from an unauthorized dealer. There is little regulation of Internet commerce, and purchasing a timepiece through an unauthorized dealer on the Internet seriously calls into question the authenticity, condition, origination, and legal entry of the timepiece into the United States. Only authorized dealers are entitled to provide purchasers with an authentic, validly signed, dated and numbered warranty supported by the manufacturer. In addition, repairs by unauthorized dealers could void the warranty on your timepiece. To protect your valuable investment, and to assure that your timepiece will always maintain its original qualities and appeal, you should purchase your timepiece from a dealer authorized and supported by the manufacturer.
